Despite the fact that in the UK the summer seems to have decided not to happen this year, you can still enjoy it with the help of your ears, your imagination, and preferably some good company, alcohol and burned meat.
If the summer does ever start, bump this. It will make it a lot better.
As usual the Irish shows were thoroughly messy. The Oslo Flow show was particularly disgusting every night. In fact it was all particularly disgusting every night. We can’t wait to do it all again. This time in we’re heading to Sweden – Gothenburg to be precise, and we are joined for this leg by Monster (sorry boys I don’t know where the Umlaut is on this keyboard..) ,Fidel Cutstro, and Blak Randy (who seems to be called Disscuss again).
But first to relax a little and get the Oslo Flow and G.O.D records ready for the BBQ….
Nausecorps records are proud to announce that the new “Man Up Or Shit Off” clothing range will be available to buy at each of the shows on the Community Skratch Tour. The shirts will also be available over the next few days from the NozL Recordings online store.
Also coming in August:
Oslo Flow – They Done Found The Flow
Grandeurs of Delusion – Pastor Of Muppets/ Everything is Dead (featuring forthcoming smash hit – “Shit Off”
Cut Chemist is in Dublin this Friday. I’m hyped. He’s doing his loopstation and Afrobeat/Brazilian show, like in that dope Sound Of The Police mix a while back.
Anyone that starts shouting for J5 tunes gets a punch in the dick from me.
Stream/buy the Sound Of The Police mix at the link below. It’s bloody good.
Yes yes. If you’re on the southwest of Ireland you may have heard this cat’s dulcet tones on Spin FM, holding down his long-running show The Block every Saturday night. Sadly, his caramel voiceover does not feature in this exclusive Community Skratch Podcast, instead he’s given us a peek inside his extensive jazz collection, specially selected for long, lazy summer evenings on the porch, rocking the flip-flops and sipping Mojitos.
